Theatre Productions
Our in-house productions revolve around new writing projects and devised work, shaped to engage with today’s world and reflect what each community wants to see, hear and feel. Every project begins with a mind mapping day and collaborative workshops that invite artists to question and critically think about the subjects.
We prioritise work that is immediate and relevant: pieces that respond to current social conversations, explore untold histories, test theatrical form and centre underrepresented perspectives. Our creative process is iterative and inclusive — drafts are tested in informal showings, feedback from community participants directly shapes rewrites, and final productions keep a thread of those original voices alive on stage.
Workshops & Outreach
At Broken God’s Productions we may be a small team, but we aim for big impact. Everything we do is driven by the belief that theatre can educate, inspire and bring people together — and that it should be accessible to everyone.
Free school workshops
We offer free workshops to all schools: primary, secondary and special educational needs (SEN).
Sessions are tailored to age, ability and curriculum needs: drama games for younger children, devising and script work for older students, and sensory-friendly, paced activities for SEN groups.
Workshops can support literacy, confidence-building, teamwork, mental health awareness and creative skills development.
Broken God Productions brings inventive, playful theatre to every community we visit. We stage work at Fringe festivals, London pub theatres and mid-scale venues with the ambition of taking successful shows on for bigger runs. Each production partners with a local charity so every performance gives back.
We are exploring sustainable, eco-friendly touring models and reimagining what repertory theatre can be in the modern world — including using local actors in the cities we visit, reducing travel and building stronger community ties. Research and funding options are actively being pursued to make this vision tangible.
If you’d like to help — whether through funding, partnerships, venue hosting, sustainable touring expertise, casting local actors, or community outreach — we’d love to hear from you. Please contact us with your ideas.
Charity partnerships
Each production is paired with a charity we believe in. We amplify their message through our shows, dedicate ticket proceeds to them and provide free, tailored workshops for their service users.
These workshops are co-designed with the charity to respond to the needs of the people they support — whether that’s wellbeing sessions, creative therapy-style activities, or skills and employability work.
All charity-facing workshops and support we provide are free of charge to the charities and the people they serve.
How we keep it sustainable
We deliver outreach for free wherever possible, but we actively seek funding and grants so we can pay our staff fairly and expand our reach. We welcome referrals from schools, charities and community groups and will work with partners to design appropriate sessions.
How you can help
Donate: contributions help us pay workshop leaders, develop inclusive resources and cover travel to reach outlying communities.
Fund: if you represent a trust or funder, we would welcome discussions about sponsored programmes or long-term partnerships.
Partner: charities and schools interested in workshops or in becoming an affiliate charity for a production should get in touch.
